This weekend is shaping up to be massive for degenerates everywhere. On Saturday, we have a full slate of college hoops, followed by the long-awaited UFC 257, featuring Conor McGregor’s rematch against Dustin Poirier (more in my preview tomorrow, but I’m leaning hard on Poirier). Then Sunday, we have a doubleheader of NFL playoffs for conference championship weekend, a bittersweet moment for football bettors everywhere as it marks two of the final three games of the year.

Goodness, gracious. If you haven’t signed up for DraftKings by now, this should convince you. The 100-1 odds are nice for the NFL, but the 257-1 is just preposterous. 20 out of McGregor’s 22 wins have come via knockout, and he rarely goes the distance. This is just silly. DraftKings capped this at $25 max bet, otherwise, they would have gone completely out of business. The fight-line spread for this matchup is massive (McGregor -325), so you’re going to make your money on winning method bets. As I mentioned before, McGregor has won 20 of his 22 fights by knockout, and it’s way more likely he’ll win through that avenue than by decision (-175 KO/TKO/DQ vs. +650 by decision). If you like Conor, the smart move here is to bet on the McGregor knockout and get your money back even if he somehow goes to distance.
NFL Playoffs Promos
