NBA All-Star 2019-2020 Season Weekend Saturday Chi-Town Picks

Slam Dunk Contest
- Aaron Gordon +110
- Derrick Jones Jr. +125
- Dwight Howard +575
- Pat Connaughton +375
Gordon is creative, but I think Derrick Jones Jr. is the play. The man floats and won the D League contest already, the value is there. Dwight is washed up, will do a cool Kobe tribute. And the Massachusetts native, Connaughton, will show some bounce, but I don’t think he’s worth the consideration. Gordon and Jones will be in the final (-105 if you call that), and Jones will float to the NBA All-Star 2019-2020 season championship.
The Pick: Derrick Jones to Win, and if you have the option you call Gordon/Jones Finalist

Three-Point Contest
- Trae Young +315
- Devin Booker +365
- Duncan Robinson +365
- Joe Harris +300
- Davis Bertans +385
- Zach LaVine +450
- Buddy Hield +525
- Devonte’ Graham +900
Trae Young is the heavy favorite, but I think everyone is a threat outside of Bertans, LaVine, and Graham. Harris looks to defend his win last year in the NBA All-Star 2019 contest, but I’m going with the Miami Heat sweep and rooting for Duncan Robinson to win the Three-Point Contest. He has been shooting lights out and will shoot like the robot he is with no defense in his face. Another one with a lot of value who can get hot is Hield, but…
The Pick: I’ll take Robinson and the 43% Shooter From 3 to win a close contest!

Skills Challenge
- Jayson Tatum +300
- Patrick Beverley +400
- Khris Middleton +450
- Spencer Dinwiddie +300
- Pascal Siakam +425
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander +350
- Domantas Sabonis +800
- Bam Adebayo +1150
Tatum looks to defend his title, but I think the best play is Dinwiddie, he’s silky smooth! The first-time all-star will look to get the weekend off right. Beverly can’t shoot, and the rest can’t make the passes with ease. I think Tatum comes to play, but Dinwiddie hits the first three when it comes down to the head-to-heads. Dinwiddie won this in 2018 and will look to reclaim the title.
The Pick: Spencer Dinwiddie (+300) – Book It
