There are just three games on the NBA schedule this Tuesday. But every one of them is interesting and are all God’s creatures or something. Anyway, we’re gonna focus on two of them and give them the royal TomBox treatment. Today we have the Los Angeles Clippers facing the Atlanta Hawks and the New York Knicks facing the Utah Jazz.

With Trae Young iffy to play, we expect the All-Star to sit out and have Williams steal the show with 19.5 points and 6.2 assists, leading the game in both categories. Serge Ibaka is expected to have a double-double with 19.2 points and 10.2 rebounds. Marcus Morris should have 18.2 points and 6.8 rebounds. And Luke Kennard will chip in 14.4 points and 3.5 assists. The Hawks will be led by John Collins’s 18.2 points and 9.9 boards, De’Andre Hunter’s 15.7 points and 5.2 rebounds, and Bogdan Bogdanović’s 13 points and 3.5 dimes. Rajon Rondo will lead Atlanta with five assists in Young’s absence. While Atlanta will commit 14.9 turnovers to LA’s 17.9, the Clips will hit 12.8 three-pointers to the Hawks’ 12.2. The Clippers have a 53.1% chance to win the moneyline, and TomBox is simulating a two-point win without their two top players.

The Knicks conclude their four-game Western road trip in Salt Lake City against the white-hot 12-4 Jazz. While New York allows the fewest points per game in the NBA, it also scores the fewest to go with the slowest pace in the league. So it comes as no surprise that TomBox is expecting a relatively low-scoring affair, with Utah coming out on top 106.8-100.2, not covering the 11-point spread but giving it a decent chance to do so. The Jazz are 72% favorites to win the game, projected to hit 48.8% of their shots to the Knicks’ 45.2% and hitting 12.3 threes to New York’s 8.6.Player Props
The TomBox algorithm is projecting NYC native Donovan Mitchell to lead all scorers with 23.5 points to go with 4.6 assists and 4.6 rebounds. Bojan Bogdanović will score 16.6 points. Mike Conley will have 16 points and 5.2 assists. Jordan Clarkson will score 14.8 off the bench. And Rudy Gobert will have 12.2 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks.
