Had a lackluster 4-4 week over my birthday, which left me feeling about as empty as the city of Oakland when Shock G passed away last week. What is it with all my favorite rappers dying lately? Can’t a useless no-talent Lil Pump catch a dirt nap? RIP Humpty Hump. Alright, stop what yer doin' cause I’m about to ruin… some sportsbook bank accounts and get you some $$ on this fine Monday. Meanwhile, KD is coming back in a limited minutes role, the Nuggets lost ANOTHER guard when Will Barton went down and Draymond Green had 19 assists in a game as the Warriors stomped the Nugs. Once again, basketball continues to fluctuate more than my COVID waistline. Anyone have the T-Wolves beating the Jazz Saturday? Exactly. Also, the current MVP race is now down to Curry, Jokić, and Embiid. By next week, I fully expect a player like JaVale McGee to enter the conversation. Anyway, I went 1-24 at the Academy Awards last night, so I'm gonna stick to hoops and get y’all some scratch with my NBA picks.Los Angeles Clippers @ New Orleans Pelicans: Los Angeles Clippers -1.5 (-120)

I rarely talk about the Clippers here at Zach to the Rack, mainly because I DO think the “Clippers' Curse” is a real thing. BUT they have won four in a row without Kawhi, and I think Paul George, who is the most hated and underappreciated NBA player, is on some sort of other-worldly mission right now. They barely beat the Rockets on Saturday but should be plenty rested when they face Zion and the Pelicans tonight. I think the Clippers' roll continues – and they keep winning ugly games under the radar. TAKE THE CLIPPERS. Points-wise, I’m leaning towards the UNDER here. The Clippers are barely hitting 110 points a night and the Pelicans are just a shade above 113…but I dunno. 227.5 seems tougher to swallow than the gummy I took after Chadwick Boseman got denied an Oscar last night.
Dallas Mavericks @ Sacramento Kings: Dallas -6 (-110)

EASY MONEY pick of the Day! The Mavericks are my least favorite team to bet on. One day they look like Western Conference Finalists, and then the Kings stomp ‘em by 14. Will that happen again today when the Dallas Mavericks take on the Sacramento Kings? Not with De’Aaron Fox out for 10 days due to the league’s “Health Protocol.” That makes this an easy W for me to pick – as I don’t expect guys like Harrison Barnes to be dropping 40 on Luka and Porziņģis. Points-wise, let’s light it up and take the OVER. Luka hit 37 last time they played, and I think they are still a couple of weeks away from seeing Bagley back. Love me some Tyrese Haliburton, but take the OVER here – as the Mavs pull away in the 4th.
