Great weekend of basketball these past two days... punctuated by the Phoenix Suns inching one game closer to their first NBA Finals since back when I was using a fake ID to buy beer in Arizona bars. And how about Giannis and Middleton in Milwaukee? They are the most popular duo in Milwaukee since Laverne & Shirley and their 4th quarter stat sheet filled in faster than the sides of Danilo Gallinari’s weird Mohawk haircut… (Thank God THAT grew in…) In Phoenix in game 4, Devin Booker said “MASK OFF” and went at the 4th quarter raw, showing the league why he’s such an unstoppable player. Meanwhile, Chris Paul said in his post-game interview that he doesn’t like to “talk about 3-1 series…” Probably a good idea knowing his history in the playoffs. After winning a little money betting that Trae would have 40 points in Game 2 and with all these playoff games swinging in so many different directions, I figured I should probably offer up some more prop bets as well today. Let’s get into today’s Game 5 in Phoenix and see if the Suns or Clippers can get us all paid.

Los Angeles Clippers @ Phoenix Suns: Los Angeles Clippers +5 (+100)

Point Total: Under 214.5 (-125)

After Game 3 in the Western Conference Finals, I began to think that the Clippers were about to rally and take this series. Paul George was SO dominant that if he had only made those two free throws at the end of game two, the Clips would have been up 2-1 in LA. Of course, we all saw what happened, and it led to Steve Ballmer hanging his head in shame the next night when the Clips blew a chance to even it up. And the Suns now look to be in control… for now. The other amazing part of Game 4 was when Mike Breen dropped the line of the night about Kawhi, “going crazy” following a Paul George bucket as he sat there, robotic-like and emotionless. But instead, we are in the Valley of the Sun and Phoenix wants to close this out at home. And they will. But will they win by 5.5? NO. TAKE THE CLIPPERS here – it’s so hard to close out and I think this game might be one of Paul George’s defining moments as a basketball player. BET CLIPPERS. Points-wise – Wow, 84-80 in Game 4? That was, simply put, a pathetic offensive output by both teams. I expect the same tonight. Take the UNDER and take some prop bets with yer boy as well… William Hill RF500 - 728x90

Top Player Props for Tonight’s NBA Action

Here are some props I like tonight: Chris Paul is finally in a position that will determine if he is a true NBA champion or a guy who always comes up short… and I’d even bet that Jake from State Farm would insure that he’s about to have one of those games… PointsBet - Deposit Bonus Up to $250
