The Browns love to feature their running game with Chubb at the helm. Last season, he recorded at least 100 rushing yards in a game six times. And he had at least 17 carries in a game eight times. Week 1 of this season brought 15 rushing attempts against the Chiefs, which he then turned into 83 yards and two touchdowns. The Browns could win this contest handily against a rebuilding Texans team, so the game script could be in Chubb’s favor to receive plenty of opportunities to rack up yards on the ground.
This has the makings of a high-scoring game between two potent offenses. The implied total is 55 points, which is the highest for any game of the week. With Dak Prescott under center for the Cowboys, Herbert should need to throw a lot to try and keep pace with their offense. He threw for 337 yards in a much more difficult matchup against Washington in Week 1. So don’t be surprised if Herbert easily surpasses the over here.
With Matthew Stafford now under center for the Rams, Kupp could be in line for the best season of his career. That’s saying something for a guy who had 94 catches, 1161 yards, and 10 touchdowns in 2019. The two showed an immediate connection in Week 1, with Kupp turning 10 targets into seven receptions and 108 yards. So now he has the potential to light up a Colts secondary that allowed 100 yards to Tyler Lockett in their opener.
